For children between the ages of 10-17... they do need a doctor's prescription or referral... something with
the child's name and doctor's signature stating that it is ok for them to participate in Weight Watchers. This
would need to be faxed to 901-881-6478.
After the doctor's note has been faxed, the parent or guardian can then call 1-800-844-9292 and give
the other information needed for them and process the child.
By calling the 1-800 number the person will get a number to present at the first weight watchers meeting.
The fee would be $1 per meeting.
If the child has more than one insurance provider they would not be able to participate in the
Tenn Care Weight Watchers parternership.
