Future Problem Solving

The Future Problem Solving Program is a nonprofit educational corporation administering creative problem solving activities for students in grades K-12. Founded in 1974 by creativity pioneer, Dr. E. Paul Torrance, FPSP stimulates critical and creative thinking skills and encourages students to develop a vision for the future. Recognizing the world as an interdependent global community, the Future Problem Solving Program involves over 250,000 students from the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Korea and other countries.

Goals of the program are:  to improve critical and creative thinking skills, stimulate interest in future events, extend verbal and written communication skills, improve research skills, encourage self-directed responsible learning, and develop teamwork skills which promote responsible group membership.
